Andrew Slipper has experience of all property sectors including mixed use, retail, offices, industrial/distribution and the promotion of residential development projects.

In August 2011 Andrew resigned from Valad Property Group to return to running Vanbrugh Land Ltd his own company which he originally set up in 1989 in joint venture with Kingfisher Plc.

In January 2002 Andrew was asked to take on the role of Director of Development of the property fund and asset manager, The io Group, to run its two development funds and to assist with the planned flotation of the business. The io Group listed on the LSE in May 2002 and was taken over by Teesland Plc in 2005 when Andrew was appointed Managing Director of Teesland iDG . Teesland was subsequently acquired by ASX listed Valad Property Group in 2007.

Vanbrugh Land has completed, let and sold over 1 million sq ft. Investors in the Company’s projects include Royal London, Henderson Global Investors, Lazards and NFU Mutual. Occupiers secured by Vanbrugh Land for its developments include Aldi Stores, United Utilities, Hays, Wincanton and AKZO Nobel. Vanbrugh Land has also worked closely with a number of other major occupiers to procure over a further 1 million sq ft including 230,000 sq ft of accommodation for Entertainment UK Ltd.

Prior to establishing Vanbrugh Land, Andrew was Managing Director of AMEC Properties Ltd. There he built up a substantial property development programme and put in place a business to manage the property portfolio of the parent, construction and engineering group, AMEC Plc.
